Class of 2010 Giving
Thanks for Making Our Campaign Such a Success!
The 2010 Senior Class Giving campaign officially ended on June 30, 2010, and it was an unqualified success!
A total of 150 gifts supported nearly every school and college, academic programs, the Syracuse University Library, SU Abroad, the general scholarship fund, Hendricks Chapel, WAER, and SU as a whole through The Fund for Syracuse. We asked our classmates to support the part of SU that meant the most of them–and they did!
Here are the final stats:
- Of the 150 gifts, 120 were from seniors and 30 were from parents and friends giving in honor of class members.
- We broke the $10,000 barrier, with total dollars raised of $11,845.
- The most gifts—29—went to funds within the College of Human Ecology. Other big recipients were The Fund for Syracuse (annual fund) with 20 gifts, L.C. Smith with 14, SU Abroad with 13, Whitman with 12, the School of Education with 8, and SU Libraries with 8.
- Gifts from seniors ranged in amount from $5 to $500.
