What’s the goal?  

The University-wide fundraising effort supports all schools, colleges, units and programs. The goal is to inspire 4,444 donors to make a gift of any size to benefit current students.  

How can I inspire others with a challenge?  

Once you’re signed in, create a challenge or match gift and track your impact in real-time with your unique sharing link (via the share buttons)! See exactly how many donors and dollars you've inspired in the “Advocates” section.  

Where can I find updates?  

Right here! Track progress, watch live shows, view challenges and see your influence as an Orange Advocate. We will also update through social media and the Orange Now app.   

Who can participate in Syracuse Giving Day?  

EVERYONE! Our entire Orange community's participation is essential for success.  

How can I make my gift to #CuseGivingDay?  

• Click “Give Now” above and your gift will be recorded in real time.  

• Call 315.443.1848 to make your gift by phone.  

Is my payment secure?  

Yes. All transactions use secure processing. Options include credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Cashapp and Venmo.  

Is there a minimum gift?  

Just $5! Every gift matters and collectively creates significant impact for current and future students.  

Can I make a recurring gift?  

Yes! You can set up a recurring gift on March 24, but only your first payment counts toward our goal for the day. Recurring gifts can only be accepted at: givetosu.syr.edu.  

Want to pay from your DAF?

If you wish to send in a gift from your DAF, indicate in the instructions that it’s for Syracuse Giving Day and we will count it when received!

Do I need to support a specific fund?  

Nope! We want you to support any area you’re passionate about. But we hope you’ll consider giving to one of our priority funds shown in the drop down. Can’t decide? Consider supporting the Annual Fund, which supports the greatest needs of Syracuse University. 

What if I already made my annual gift this year?  

Thank you! We appreciate your commitment and encourage you to consider a small gift to participate in #CuseGivingDay challenges. You can also encourage others to give!  

Is my gift tax-deductible?
