The Honors Program Fund allows Professor Danielle Taana Smith, director of the Renée Crown University Honors Program, the flexibility to meet unanticipated and exciting opportunities that come up over the course of the year. Philanthropic support provides the margin-of-excellence opportunities that exceed what budgets can cover: Thesis Boot Camps for students to return to campus early from breaks to get much-needed thesis writing and feedback time; sending students on research trips to research their theses; providing professional development grants, and much more.
