African Student Union

At Syracuse, there are over 300 registered student organizations open to all undergraduate Syracuse University and SUNY-ESF students, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or other demographic. Each was invited to participate in this 24-hour challenge. With 38 groups taking the opportunity, there is a wide array of projects to support!

The African Student Union (ASU) celebrates culture, builds strong bonds and fosters fellowship. ASU seeks to increase awareness of African students' interests and concerns through education and interaction.

How Your Support Helps

We would like to begin a water well project in African communities facing water scarcity that would serve as a flagship ASU community service initiative. By creating a sustainable solution, we hope to empower a community through access to this lifesaving resource for years to come.
