Focused on the School’s highest priorities, the Friends of the School of Architecture Fund provides flexible resources that directly enrich the student experience. Recent investments have supported students participating in global design competitions, strengthened professional development opportunities for student organizations, enabled critical technology upgrades and expanded studio and classroom space in Slocum Hall and beyond. The Fund has also offered essential emergency financial assistance to students. Together, these investments ensure our future architects have every opportunity to thrive—academically, creatively and professionally.
We have an exciting challenge too: when just 50 donors give to the School of Architecture, Bernard Armstrong III ’85 will unlock a transformative $50,000 gift for the School of Architecture 150 Global Study Endowed Scholarship.

Finally, you can join us in supporting the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) as they compete in the Giving Day Student Organization Challenge. They’re up against 40 other student groups across campus, seeking gifts to support a community service project to renovate the living room of the local Salvation Army Center. Once 150 alumni support any project in the Challenge, $2,100 will be unlocked and shared among the top five groups—with $420 going to each—thanks to the generosity of the Syracuse University Alumni Association Board (SUAA).
